Youth Travel Insurance: Insuring the youth for the better youth. The Filipino youths are considered as the most valuable resource of the country. The “Youth in Nation-Building Act” (RA 8044) which was enacted in 1995 established the National Youth Commission and the National Comprehensive and Coordinated Program on Youth Development. This act defined the Filipino youth as those with ages 15-30. Currently, the Philippines have a projected 85.2 million population. The youth comprises more than 40 percent of the total population. Of this, 21% are enrolled in high school, tertiary and vocational schools, 22% are young peasants, 21% are contractual young workers in the urban areas, 36% are unemployed and out of school and 4% are working students. As I also known the insurance agency is focus only to those who have work so mostly it’s adult so I think to those youth who don’t have work and a teenager who are now studying and only seeking for pleasure it’s time for them to secure their life insurance and health by visiting a tourist destination in their locality. And we know that tourism plays a big role in one’s nation. We don’t know what will be happen for those youth of course n case of emergency they have a financial assistance that can help them or us.
